But while i'm not 100% sure as to his intentions, which we'll likely hear next episode, the fact he has but 3 days to save both the Sanctuary from the Great Rabbit and the Mansion from Elsa means he can hardly waste time to cuddle besides his sweetheart. That evening he made arrangements that are crucial to this loop, which honestly is obvious given even Ryuzu Shima is missing from where Garfiel would think she is and Otto being where he was expected to come. I find it weird that you watch this show and expect Subaru to make decisions like this after experiencing so many backlashes, without considering the consequences... that's usually after he resolved an existing issue. He knew he made a promise but had to break it to save her and everyone else... keeping that promise would have meant he'd lose precious time. It wasn't idiotic at all, it was the best decision to make at the time.

He'd better have a damn good reason for not staying with her the night like he promised, but i mean seriously why'd he blow that chance anyway... he could easily have laid down beside her and cuddled the night away....
