raz334 More importantly a single cylinder gasoline powered engine could barely move that cart on a paved road... it would take at least 2 cylinders of a gasoline powered engine to have any hope of moving that cart without it's cargo across the uneven terrain.. and that is barely it would be slow... to actually move it with cargo he would need a two cylinder gasoline powered boat to reduce the weight.................................................Now as for a Steam powered engine i don't know the numbers on that but i do know that a simple indoor furnace isn't going to superheat the steam enough to produce enough thrust to even move that cart on a single cylinder, i doubt even two would be enough... I would wager that it would take upwards of 4+ cylinders and a much hotter flame and much larger water supply than what he built........... this episode really screwed up the 'Science' behind it.
